Material Description – Teak & Reclaimed Teak

Teak is a hardwood with exceptional qualities for furniture and interior design. It is dense, durable, slightly elastic, and naturally rich in oils – making it highly resistant to moisture, impact, and changing climates.

We use only sustainably sourced plantation teak from Indonesia in the production of our teak furniture. Our untreated teak pieces are carefully sanded and polished to highlight the natural grain. Minor cracks may appear and are part of the wood’s living character.

Reclaimed teak – rustic beauty with a story

Our reclaimed teak products are made using branches and roots from previously used teak, often sourced from old buildings or traditional craftsmanship. This process gives each piece its own story and character. Small cracks, nail holes, color variations, and irregularities in the wood are part of the collection’s charm – no two pieces are the same.
