UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE
Material Description – Upholstered Furniture
All our upholstered furniture is made with frames constructed from either metal or wood. Suspension typically consists of elastic webbing or nozag springs, ensuring lasting comfort and structural stability. Seat and back cushions are filled with foam, polyether, or certified down and feather, depending on the model and desired comfort level.
Our upholstery fabrics have a minimum Martindale rating of 20,000, making them highly resistant to wear. Most fabrics are rated 5–6 on the lightfastness scale, indicating good resistance to fading from sunlight.
Recommended use: Indoor only.
Care & Maintenance
• Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight – it may cause fading or color shifts
• Rotate cushions regularly to ensure even wear
• Some models allow you to remove and flip the inner cushions for extended longevity
Caring for Down-Filled Cushions
Down-filled seats and backs require more maintenance than synthetic alternatives, but with proper care they remain comfortable and visually appealing for years.
• Fluff and lightly shake cushions regularly to evenly distribute feathers and down
•This helps preserve shape and support
General Cleaning
• Vacuum the furniture regularly using a soft brush attachment
• Remove dust, pet hair, and textile fibers from throws or decorative pillows – these can cause pilling
• Use a fabric protector spray to help prevent stains and dirt buildup
Washing Instructions: Unless otherwise stated, dry cleaning is recommended for all fabrics.
